  1. emotional appeal - a message that creates strong feelings to make a point.  
  2. ethical appeal - a speaker or writer links a claim to a widely accepted value in order to gain moral support for the claim.
  3. repetition - a sound, word, phrase is repeated for emphasis
  4. parallelism - the use of words, phrases, lines that have a similar structure or grammatical form
