This is for use with your Common Core Writing from Sources workbook.
When you are writing from sources, you must say the title of the source and/or the author and put the information in quotation marks.
Examples:
In the article Volcanic Soils, the author stated that "Mount Vesuvius experienced two major eruptions more than 10,000 years ago."
The author Russell McDanaugh wrote, "Once volcanic soils have been broken down, they enrich the soil by adding important nutrients from plants."
"The Kau Scenic Byway offers by far the longest stretches of unspoiled natural scenery," as stated in the article On the Slopes of Muana Loa, Hawaii Islands.
