Research topic  - conduct research - see below
Listen to the news and bring in relevant, recent news stories to discuss. Write a summary and reflection of one news article for the week.

Social Studies Research Project
  1. Pick a focus/topic from Chapter 9.  Examples: Supreme Court, Amendments, The Senate or House of Representatives, States vs Federal
  2. Research information: what is it? What does it do?
  3. Create a 5 question Survey to ask students about your topic.
  4. Send survey to classmates. Analyze the results.
  5. Create a Google slideshow and presentation explaining your topic and the results of the survey.
